Christmas Card Project 2012

In mid-summer 2009 it was decided that the Rotary Club of Ayr would produce its own Christmas Card in aid of Shelter Boxes.

Alastair Swan of Ayr Camera Club kindly agreed to put the idea to them of holding a competition, the winning photograph from which would be used for our Christmas Card. They readily agreed.

In May 2012, Neil Beattie presented a slide show of all the entries for the 2012 competition, and this stunning photograph of the iconic Turmberry lighthouse emerged as a the winner. Mark McColl was the photographer. See blog for more details. See 2011 entry
